Lending a helping hand

Life can be challenging and feel overwhelming at times, but rest assured that there are resources available to assist with various needs. Here are some associations and programs affiliated with local, county and state agencies that may be helpful.

  • Child & Family Services

The Waypoint Family Support Warm Line is a free phone-in service where callers can talk confidentially to a family support professional to get help with coping strategies, child behaviors, family dynamics, household management and emotional distress.

  • Food & Nutritional Assistance

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides eligible people with benefits to buy food items at grocery stores, farmers markets and other approved food retailers. Don’t assume that you won’t be eligible and apply as needed.
